Despite recent cold weather, summer is on its way. And around this time of year my thoughts turn to alfresco aperitivo…..whose don’t? When we moved to Concarneau, we only expected to be here a year and so we rented a lovely apartment, in the centre, but without a garden. Each season we expect it to be our last but we have ended up staying for 5 years already! The apartment has a very narrow balcony which overlooks the main street. I would like to put some benches on it but unfortunately my DIY expert is tied up doing renovations on our sailing boat.
